Itinerary of the 5-Day Tanzania Safari Package

Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Imagine starting a fun trip in Arusha, a city that's right next to a big mountain called Mount Meru. From there, we'll go on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park. It's a bit far, about as long as watching a movie. As we travel, you'll see big open spaces called savannahs and tall trees called acacia trees.

When we get to Lake Manyara National Park, you'll see lots of animals. There are even lions that climb trees! You'll also see many different kinds of birds. It's like a big outdoor zoo!

What makes Lake Manyara National Park special is its green forest. It's different from the dry savannahs around it. The park has a beautiful lake and a big cliff called the Rift Valley Escarpment. It's like a big picture that nature has painted! This trip is full of amazing things to see and do!

Day 2: Lake Manyara to Tarangire National Park

On the second day of our 5-day Tanzania safari, we'll leave Lake Manyara and head to Tarangire National Park. It's not too far, just about the same time it takes to watch a short movie. As we drive, you'll see amazing views that will take your breath away. You'll see the wide-open African plains and the Great Rift Valley, a huge crack in the earth that can be seen from space!

When we get to Tarangire National Park, you'll see all kinds of animals. The park is special because it has the most elephants in all of Tanzania! You might see baby elephants playing or big elephants splashing water.

But that's not all! Tarangire National Park is also known for its baobab trees. These trees are very big and very old, some are even over a thousand years old! During the dry season, the park has seasonal swamps. These swamps become a popular spot for animals when it's dry, so you might see lots of animals there.

So, get ready for an exciting day full of amazing views and lots of animals on the second day of our safari!

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

On the third day of our 5-day safari in Tanzania, we'll pack up our things and leave Tarangire for our next adventure at Serengeti National Park. It's a bit of a drive, about the same time as watching two movies back-to-back. But don't worry, the journey is part of the fun! As we drive, you'll see the beautiful African plains stretching out as far as the eye can see. You'll also see the Great Rift Valley, a huge valley that's so big, you can see it from space!

When we get to Serengeti National Park, you'll be amazed by all the different kinds of animals. The park is special because it has the most lions in all of Africa! You might see a lioness hunting for food or a group of lions resting under a tree.

But that's not all! Every year, the park becomes the scene of a great journey. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras travel across the park in search of fresh grass. It's one of the biggest animal migrations in the world!

So, get ready for an exciting day in Serengeti National Park full of amazing views and lots of animals on the third day of our safari!

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

On the fourth day of our 5-day safari in Tanzania, we’ll have another exciting day in Serengeti National Park. Because the park is so big, we need another day to see everything! We’ll go on a game drive, which is like a car tour where we can see wild animals. We’ll visit different parts of the park to see as many animals as we can. You might see giraffes eating leaves from tall trees, hippos swimming in the water, or monkeys playing in the trees.

In the late afternoon, we’ll start our journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is where we’ll spend the night and have dinner. But the adventure isn’t over yet! The journey to Ngorongoro is part of the fun. We’ll drive through beautiful landscapes and might see more animals along the way.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Back to Arusha

On the fifth and final day of your 5-day Tanzania safari, you will descend 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and is often referred to as the 8th Wonder of the World.
